One of the currently biggest records of the country is revamped with an official remix with a surprising guest feature from former Def Jam recording artist, Trinidad Jame$. “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars taps the “All Gold Everything” hit maker for the official remix as a respect sign of paying homage to Jame$ who’s debut single fueled the original concept for “Uptown Funk”. Ronson and Mars draw the line, “Don’t believe me just watch…” as a sample from part of Jame$ hook on “All Gold Everything”. Jame$ is also credited in the original songwriting credits under his government alias Nicholas Williams. In related Trinidad Jame$ news, the ATLien just release his latest mixtape, No One is Safe back in January and commercial release his new single “All Lives Matter” last week.

Trinidad Jame$ is currently unsigned with any major and was released from Def Jam late 2014 with his debut LP with the label shelved.
