Eminem’s Shady Promos for Shady XV

Like Don't move Unlike

As you may already know, Eminem’s Shady XV featuring his greatest hits and 12 new songs, is being released today. But unlike most artists, Eminem isn’t just tweeting his album artwork and available merch. He’s coordinating some violent cartoons instead, reflecting the nature of his album cover. There are two short EPs out so far, both starring an innocent looking “Birthday Girl”. The animations cover the most wholesome moments of her Shady Quinceañera. In both scenes, things appear to be reasonably okay, until her smile morphs into an expression as dark as her hair. She doesn’t leave anyone alive, but is nice enough to make it fast!

…Obviously Marshall just wants us to make the most of our special day each year. You can preview the Shady XV Tracklist here. For the Shady Classics that didn’t make the album, you can download this free mixtape (66 songs!) put together by DJ Whoo Kid. Follow him on Twitter @Eminem for more updates.
