Archnemesis Invades the East Village With Funk

Like Don't move Unlike

This Saturday, August 2nd, the funk is about to be brought down in New York City. The people of CEG Presents and The Get Down are hooking us all up with a top notch electro-soul act from Charleston, SC by the name of Archnemesis, who will be performing live at the East Village nightclub, DROM [85 Ave A].

Earlier this year, Archnemesis dropped his latest album, Free For All, a short album of four really funky tracks that definitely get the crowd moving. The glory of this specific sub-genre of electronic music is the live aspect. Almost every electro-soul act [think Pretty Lights, Gramatik, Griz, Exmag] throws down a live set that’s more then just a set of turntables, but it’s also a dance floor-moving, funk experience. Our favorite part about the Archnemesis act is that he manipulates all of his studio tracks on stage into freshly remixed live tracks! Get a sneak peek at what you’re in for this weekend:

This show is a must see — it is a guaranteed great night out. Get your tickets here, doors open at 9!
